2015 Corvettes at Carlisle to offer Special Automotive Resort Themed Giveaway

CARLISLE, Pa. - April 21, 2015 - PRLog -- When something does well, why not do it again?  The response to the 2014 Corvettes at Carlisle giveaway was so positive that it’s back once more for 2015.  Online now and as part of this year’s show, Carlisle Events and the Spring Mountain Motor Resort are teaming up for a very special giveaway.  This year’s show runs August 28-30 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and features some 5,000 cars spanning the history of the brand.  In addition, there are unique displays that focus on all things patriotic.  The American Flay display is back and Chip’s Choice is a tribute to service members who also happen to be Corvette lovers.  show.

The giveaway, which will be awarded on Saturday of event weekend, is a unique prize of a lifetime.  Via online contesting and onsite registration, ONE (1) person will win a weekend at the Spring Mountain Motor Resort in Nevada, plus three nights’ accommodations.  In addition, the winner will earn a $500 Visa gift for use in any manner that the winner sees fit, be it air fare, meals, etc.

All of this will be available via the resort which is based in Pahrump, Nevada; about 1 hour west of Las Vegas.  The resort is state of the art and positioned in a picturesque portion of the station.  Better yet, the driving school is backed by veteran drive Ron Fellows.   There are not only multiple R&R options at the resort itself, but when getting behind the wheel of a performance based car, there are multiple options there too.   This particular prize affords the winner a complete Level 1 package.

The overall prize package has a value of $4,725 and is built for drivers of all experience levels.  With it comes a dynamic car control exercise, learning of proper cornering techniques, Corvette electronic driving mode discovery and allows for up to 250 miles of track time.  Plus, so the winner doesn’t lose touch with the instructor or other drivers, a two-way radio is included too.

Keeping with the race theme at Carlisle, this is the third consecutive year a performance based prize has been offered at Corvettes at Carlisle and the second time Carlisle Events has partnered with the resort.  This move is backed by event manager Lance Miller’s passion for going fast, racing and all things performance based.
