By: Career Step “We at Army Wife Network are pleased to work with Career Step to empower military spouses with resources that will help them establish rewarding careers,” said Tara Crooks, Co-Founder of Army Wife Network. “This scholarship opportunity with Career Step will help ease the financial burden for a deserving military spouse working toward obtaining higher education or job-specific training, and we hope military spouses everywhere will get their applications in before the deadline!” The scholarship offers $2,000 toward higher education at the college, university, or vocational school of the winner’s choice. Current spouses of active duty service members or veterans of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or National Guard are welcome to apply. Applicants must submit an 800 to 1000 word essay on how they plan to use their education to benefit their family and community. Applications can be submitted at CareerStep.com/ “We continually strive to find new ways to support and strengthen the military community,” said Career Step Military Liaison Tim Reynolds. “Teaming up with Army Wife Network on this scholarship is just one more way we are investing in military spouses.
