Phoenix Arizona is Growing And So Are Job Opportunities

PHOENIX - April 20, 2015 - PRLog -- If you're between deciding moving to Phoenix Arizona for their perennially warm weather, but wondering if you can land a decent job there, rest your worries. Phoenix is growing and so are job opportunities.

In a recent survey by of the best performing cities for growing job opportunities, Phoenix ranked alongside Tucson and Yuma. Over 200 key metropolitan areas in the United States were compared and Phoenix ranked the fourth. According to the results of the study conducted by The Milken Institute, the study was based on the cities' ability to create new jobs and the ability to sustain these jobs. Taken into careful consideration were the cities' long and short term employment, technology output, and growth of the salaries.

A lot of job opportunities in Phoenix are in the public sector, in schools, and in the government, from entry-level jobs to managerial or administrative positions. Career and job opportunities at the University of Phoenix, for example, allow their students to access over 121,000 job listings.

Because of the Arizonian warm climate and Phoenix's happy weather, the place usually attracts snow birds, empty nesters, sports and outdoor enthusiast, making tourism one of the largest industry in the city. Golf clubs, golf courses, hotels nature parks and nature trails, as well as shopping centers, museums, restaurants, night clubs and bars offer the most jobs to these singles, to working students, and to single parents.

Where job opportunities in the tourism scene is concerned, IHG or the Intercontinental Hotels Group also recently opened the doors of one of their signature hotel, the Staybridge Suites in Phoenix. As the doors to this hotel opened, so did the doors to job opportunities for those planning to move to Phoenix.
