Devart Introduces New dbExpress Drivers with Support for RAD Studio XE8

PRAGUE - April 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Devart team introduces the new versions of dbExpress drivers including such significant features as:

* Support for RAD Studio XE8

* SQL Server support for Mac OS makes possible to develop truly cross-platform SQL Server applications

* SQLite Database Encryption is supported in Direct Mode for MacOS

* Oracle Direct Mode is distributed as source code

dbExpress is a database-independent layer that defines common interface to provide fast access to SQL database servers from Delphi and C++Builder on Windows and Mac OS X for both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. For each supported server, dbExpress provides a driver as an independent library that implements the common dbExpress interfaces for processing queries and stored procedures.

The list of supported databases includes Oracle Database, SQL Server, MySQL, InterBase/Firebird, PostgreSQL and SQLite.
