Lake Pointe Health Network Named One of North Texas’ Healthiest Employers in 2015

DALLAS - April 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Lake Pointe Health Network (LPHN) based in Rowlett, Texas, was recently selected as one of the Dallas Business Journal's Healthiest Employers in North Texasfor remarkable dedication to providing a healthy workplace. LPHN received the No. 20 ranking in the large company category. This is the thirdconsecutive year LPHN has received the award.

The annual awards program, created by Indianapolis-based Healthiest Employers LLC, measures wellness in six categories: culture and leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communication and marketing, programming and interventions and reporting and analysis. With more than 1,000employees, LPHN was selected in the large company category for this year’s award.

As a Tenet Healthcare-owned organization, LPHN utilizes the Tenet Total Wellness approach to implement different wellness programs year-round. Staff members and their families are encouraged to take their physical health seriously and are rewarded for reaching or taking steps to reach specific health goals related to six dimensions of wellness: physical, community service, environmental stewardship, learning and development, financial knowledge and emotional wellness. The staff has opportunities to take part in wellness seminars, challenges and activities and employee participation is awarded with chances to win monthly prizes.
