Trash As Art Raising Money for Scholarship Fund

AURORA, Colo. - April 18, 2015 - PRLog -- Trash As Art has announced its plans to set up a scholarship fund for students majoring in art and/or fashion. To do this the company will be starting a new brand dedicated to the scholarship fund along with an annual fashion show. Recipients of the scholarships will be awarded at the fashion show.

The first fashion show is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2015 and will take place at Fletcher Plaza in Aurora, Colorado. The company will be sending out a call for entries for artists and designers interested in participating in the event.

Trash As Art has already began making connections with a local community college and is working on getting set to distribute scholarships for the 2015 fall semester at the school. The company has launched a campaign on GoFundMe in order to help raise money to host the fashion show and distribute scholarships to students who attend other schools.

“I’m very excited about this project. It is one of my company goals for 2015, and I am pleased to be taking steps to get this done. The collaborations I have made are awesome and they will help this process to be a huge success.
