iRiS Software Systems partner with The Balcon restaurant in London

LONDON - April 17, 2015 - PRLog -- The Balcon is unveiling interactive dining technology for use by its diners through a partnership with iRiS Software Systems, the worldwide leading provider of guest-facing solutions.

The Balcon is an all day dining destination; perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is also ideal for a morning coffee and savouries, a tasty plate of charcuterie or an afternoon tea with a French touch. The menu, created by Head Chef Vincent Ménager, blends French and British traditions, styles and ingredients, whilst combining innovation and a modern twist to effectively link the two cultures.

Guests dining at the ideally located restaurant will be able to enjoy the F&B Classic app, consisting of 3 digital menus on iPads, created by iRiS Software Systems. Bringing diners closer to the dining experience with a visually stunning interface, it is available in English & French, and offers wine, bar and cocktail menus. It can also be used for promoting events and other services and facilities in the restaurant.

F&B Classic brings wine lists to life on an interactive tablet, enabling diners to select wines by grape, region, price and even by Sommelier recommendation. Making the most of the features offered by the app, The Balcon have also added food pairing and tasting notes for every wine. The application also makes changing menus quick and easy and replaces traditional print materials by storing information digitally.
