This year will mark the second Annual Viet Fashion Week. Rapper, FORTUNE, will be opening  for Vietnamese designers. This year’s Vietnamese fashion week was bigger and better than its predecessor. Being the second year, it was an great improvement. Big names in the Vietnamese fashion industry like Jacky Tai, Cynthia Bui, Annie Thu Nguyen, Son Collection and Calvin Hiep on the first day as well as Peter Phan, Alexe Quynn Tran, Timothy Hoang and Vicki Nguyen participated and It was definitely an honor to experience their collections; each one, profound!

This event will be broadcasted on Viet Face TV as a reality TV based show. Thuy Nga Productions will then release the much anticipated fashion show on DVD.

About FORTUNE: Dante Tran, a.k.a. Fortune, is a rap artist from Orange County's Little Saigon. He has opened up for notable names such as Chris Brown, Nick Canon and worked amongst well-known producers within the music industry. Some that are not limited to Ariana Grande, P. Diddy and Sean Kingston just to name a few. Now based in Los Angeles, Fortune returned to his hometown to make an appearance at Viet Fashion Week. She volunteered as a model at the local universities and began working with up-and-coming designers. Tracy became a fashion show choreographer and had the opportunity to work in Europe, Asia, Canada, and many parts of the U.S. She has directed & choreographed over 300 fashion shows in the past 16 years & has been a pageant director for Miss Global, Miss Vietnam Global, and Miss Vietnam USA. Tracy is now a board of directors for the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce and organizes community charity benefits through fashion.
