DDY Soccer Club and Future Stars Soccer Academy to Host Summer Soccer Camp

ATLANTA - April 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Future Stars Soccer Academy (FSSA) and DDY Soccer Club (DDYSC) are pleased to announce they’ve partnered to provide an exceptional soccer camp experience to DDYSC players this summer, June 15-19, July 6-10 and July 13-17, at Oglethorpe University in Brookhaven, GA.

For more than 14 years, FSSA founders Jon Akin (current head men’s soccer coach at Oglethorpe) and Gilbert Jean-Baptiste have led high quality training sessions designed to equip aspiring soccer players with the technical, physical and mental tools to succeed.

All programs were created by former professional players and are taught by Future Stars staff with assistance from current and former college players. This level of professional expertise is what first attracted the leadership of DDYSC to the FSSA program.

“This is a great partnership for our club because of the high-level training our members will receive outside of our season,” said Jeff Newbury, DDYSC Director of Coaching. “For players looking for additional opportunities to improve during the off-season, FSSA is a great option – excellent technical and tactical training in a college environment.”

An extra benefit of the partnership is that FSSA donates a portion of the summer soccer camp proceeds back to DDYSC to support scholarships for its members who require financial assistance to play the game they love.
