Art & Craft Show Posters Honored in Sunshine Artist’s 19th Annual Show Poster Contest

ORLANDO, Fla. - April 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Sunshine Artist Magazine (http://www.sunshineartist.com) has announced the winners of its 19th annual Show Poster Contest, honoring 15 different posters from arts & crafts events nationwide.

Having launched in 1997, Sunshine Artist’s Show Poster Contest invites art and craft events to submit their official show posters from the preceding year. Individuals from Florida’s vibrant arts community are then invited to judge the entries. This year, judges Kelly Hutchinson and Alexander Whittenberg selected seven top award winners and four Honorable Mentions, and the Sunsine Artist team chose four Staff Picks.

Ludington, Michigan’s West Shore Art Fair was honored with the Overall Best prize, and their poster appears on Sunshine Artist’s May 2015 issue’s cover.

“It’s such an elegant piece, and absolutely a work of art in itself that I would frame and put on a wall,” said Whittenberg.

“It has great lines, color and framing,” added Hutchinson.

“Sincere thanks to everyone who submitted posters, particularly the talented creators and designers who brought them to life,” said Nate Shelton, Managing Editor of Sunshine Artist. “We couldn’t have produced this issue without them.”
