RICS Award Finalists for Care Home

BATLEY, U.K. - April 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Seafarers Way, the extra care housing scheme from Inclusion Housing in Sunderland makes it to the finals of the RICS North East Renaissance Awards 2015 for Building Conversion and Regeneration.

Regarded as the premier property and construction awards in the country, the RICS Awards showcase the achievements of the most inspirational regional initiatives and developments in land, property, construction and the environment whilst bringing together the most innovative projects in the region.

Shackletons worked with Inclusion Housing to complete the new build extra care housing scheme specifically designed to accommodate people with Alzheimer’s and dementia; looking after every aspect of what was needed to provide a fit for purpose and supportive extra care environment.

The awards take place on the 24^th of April and will be hosted by Phil Spencer, property expert and television presenter, at the Civic Centre, Newcastle.
