CORONA, Calif. - April 15, 2015 - PRLog -- TriTech SBDC will host their 6th Annual Funding Forum, entitled “Funding The BIG Idea (http://www.fundingthebigidea.com/),”on April 21, 2015 at La Sierra University in Riverside. The purpose of the funding forum is to support local entrepreneurs and businesses to accelerate the commercialization of their products and services.

“Funding The BIG Idea (http://www.fundingthebigidea.com/)”is a great opportunity for those looking to take their business to the next level and bring insight into the funding process,” said Mark Mitchell, TriTech director. “Whether you are a serial entrepreneur, scientist, engineer or early stage founder, you will learn first-hand what it takes to rapidly advance your business.”

Last year, Lori Torres, CEO of Parcel Pending, Irvine, Calif., was the winner of the Forum’s Piranha Pool (similar to Shark Tank), won $1000 and was invited to present to the Tech Coast Angels where she secured $1 million in funding to launch her business.

“Events like this are one of the keys to the success of small businesses and startups, as they provide the necessary insight into the funding realities,” said Mark Messenger, small business banking manager at Bank of America for the Inland Empire/Palm Springs desert markets. “Learning what it takes to secure the interest of a potential funding source is a crucial step in moving forward with a successful business model.”

“Funding The BIG Idea (http://www.fundingthebigidea.com/)” is a must-attend event for local business owners or founders of a start-up who are ready to take their business to the next level.
