CDC Announces SpecialNeedsWare CEO as Keynote Speaker for Autism Awareness Month Event 2015

NEW YORK - April 16, 2015 - PRLog -- The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has announced Jonathan Izak, CEO of SpecialNeedsWare, to be the keynote speaker for the Autism Awareness Month Event on April 16, 2015 in Atlanta, GA.  The event promises to be a night of inspiration and will include guest speakers, panel discussions and musical performances.  Sponsor organizations include Autism Speaks, Autism Society of Georgia, The Autism Foundation of Georgia, and Atlanta Autism Consortium, Inc.

Inspired by his brother with autism, Jonathan was determined to support those with special needs facing communication, life skill and learning challenges by creating software that capitalized on those individuals’ strong visual learning capabilities and their affinity for technology.  After completing his engineering degree in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania, he brought together a team of experts in speech pathology, behavior therapy, special education and assistive technology to create revolutionary technology platforms. These platforms are helping to promote independence in tens of thousands of individuals with developmental disabilities in schools and homes throughout the world.
