ATLANTA - April 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Two Legacy Hotel Partners team members at the Embassy Suites Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park, Frank Phair and Dale Gustafson, have been selected to receive honors from Hilton Worldwide. Phair, general manager, has been selected to participate in the Circle of Leadership for Embassy Suites, and Gustafson, director of sales, was awarded the CEO Light & Warmth Award from Hilton. Under the direction of its award-winning team, Embassy Suites Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park is poised for a remarkable year.

The Circle of Leadership is a yearlong program teaching relevant, motivational and actionable management strategies for Embassy Suites team members. The purpose of the Circle is to encourage members to grow, both personally and professionally, and to rejuvenate their employees, communities and the Embassy Suites brand. The Circle, which began in 2008, has a highly dynamic and interactive curriculum with a specific focus on a group learning process that fosters trust, accountability, common purpose and teamwork. The program recognizes leaders with great potential and provides them with additional resources to further improve the performance of their hotels by tailoring to the role and responsibilities of an Embassy Suites General Manager.

“I’m looking forward to the coming months of dedicating myself to the betterment of this hotel and to the Embassy brand,” said Phair. “Embassy invests a significant amount of time and effort into programs that benefit its employees. We’ve implemented several ideas that I’ve learned from the Circle already, and we are seeing remarkable results, which our visitors will soon see as well.”

The CEO Light & Warmth Award is the highest accolade any Hilton employee can achieve and was established to recognize those who exceptionally embody Hilton Worldwide’s values. This prestigious award is presented to those who consistently go beyond expectations. Hilton Worldwide President & CEO Christopher J. Nassetta chose the 12 winners out of more than 2,000 employees who had been nominated, and Gustafson was Embassy Suites’ first winner. Winners received global recognition and a one-time bonus of $10,000. Gustafson was chosen because he focuses on people first and business second and has a deep passion for helping others and the Atlanta community.

“I started my career in this industry because I knew I wanted to help others. I’m very service minded and although it may not be obvious, working in the hotel industry allows you to make a difference in the lives of others by directly interacting with them and satisfying their needs,” said Gustafson. “My commitment to helping others in our community aligns perfectly with Legacy Hotel Partners’ values, and we intend to increasingly invest in our community in the coming years.”

Legacy Hotel Partners manages four Hilton Worldwide hotels across the Southeast.
