New York Yankees Themed Car Consigned to the Spring Carlisle Auction

The story on the car is just as cool as the car itself.  It all started in 2009 when, after decades at the old Yankee Stadium, the Bronx Bombers moved into a new gem of a ball park across the street.  As such, the car was created to celebrate the opening of the ballpark.  Ultimately, it was given away in July of 2009 as part of a promotion by the Tri-State (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) Ford Dealers and has been kept in impeccable condition ever since.

With just over 4,000 miles on it, this one of a kind Yankee Mustang also comes with its original window sticker, certificate of origin, original build sheet, Connecticut title and has had just one owner since the day it was given away.

Additionally, going under the hood yields a 4.6-liter V8 engine with a cool air induction system, 19-inch alloy wheels and automatic transmission.  Keeping with the Yankee theme, the interior has blue lighting and as entertainment goes, the new owner can enjoy an auxiliary input jack, USB port and CD player, plus Ford's SYNC hands free communication system and SIRIUS Satellite Radio.
