UPSC declares Civil Services Main 2014 Result

DELHI, India - April 14, 2015 - PRLog -- The Union Public Service Commission has declared the much awaited result of UPSC civil services examination 2014 that was conducted in December 2014 for pre-liminary qualified candidates. The personality test of selected candidates will be conducted starting from April 27.

Thousands of candidates, who were selected in the civil services pre-lim exam, appeared in the Mains exam in December last year and in total, 3308 candidates were selected in the Main exam by the UPSC. UPSC has already released the list of selected candidates, which is available on the UPSC website upsc.gov.in

UPSC has declared the main exam results, but the decision regarding Jat candidates reservation is still pending in the Supreme court. The result of one candidate has been put on hold waiting for the outcome of the case.

The Supreme Court has asked the opinion from the UPSC regarding the reservation for Jat candidates after a centre filed case against cancellation of Jat reservation. The reservation is still kept pending in the Supreme court and so are the results of affected candidates.

Those candidates, who got selected in the UPSC Mains exam 2014, will receive their call for Personal Interview starting from April 27. Around 50% of candidates are selected in the interview round. So, be prepared.
