Through seemingly insurmountable adversity, Bob has persevered from battlefield injuries in Vietnam that put him in a body bag, to his miraculous recovery in the hospital, to his walk across America on his arms, a journey taking almost 4 years from LA to DC.

Bob has proved his message that “Through faith in God, determination, and dedication, a person can achieve anything.” He has always said, “The joy is in the journey.” Bob is the only double amputee to coach in the National Football League. He is a 4 time world record holder in the bench press with a best lift of 507lbs, competing against able-bodied men.

He is the only double amputee to ever complete the grueling Iron Man Triathlon in Hawaii without the use of a wheel chair. He travels on the “Celebrate America Tour” and is known as one of the most powerful keynote speakers by corporate event planners and a living legend in his own time!
