Historic Sorority to Offer Scholarships to Local High School Seniors

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - April 14, 2015 - PRLog -- The Orange County Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Mu Epsilon Omega, is proud to award three $1,000 scholarships to female African-American high school seniors in Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Each high school senior will receive a $1,000 scholarship towards higher education at an accredited four-year college or university of their choice. To be considered, applicants must submit a completed application, essay prompt, copy of signed transcript from their high school counselor, two letters of recommendation (from a teacher and non-relative), and have a 3.0 or better grade point average (GPA).
