Bean Counters Unite on April 15th!

CHARLESTON, S.C. - April 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Everyone knows that Bean Counters like to party and there is no greater day for an accountant to celebrate than April 15^th.  So, a group of local Financial Executives picked April 15^th to kick off a local chapter of the CFO Council.

"We are excited to launch a chapter of the CFO Council here in Charleston on April 15th", said Robert Bendetti, Charleston CFO Council President.  "This is an excellent opportunity to provide unique educational and networking experiences for Senior Financial Executives in Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville, and surrounding areas.

The purpose of the Charleston CFO Council is to provide an educational forum for Senior Financial Executives to share best practices, to discuss current financial issues, and to learn about current topics related to the performance of their job.

Mr. Bendetti is fired up about this new group.  “Accountants aren't known for being the most social or active networkers ", said Mr. Bendetti.  "We know this group can help can change that perception”.

Membership is open to Senior Financial Executives including CFO’s, Controllers, Finance VP’s, and Treasurers.  The monthly meetings are held at the Crowne Plaza in North Charleston near the Tanger Outlet Mall on the 3rd Wednesday of each Month from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.
