By: BCAE The series will kick off on Thursday, May 28th, 2015 from 6:00PM—7:30PM as Chef Leah Dickerson, Master Gardener Susan Hammond and Dr. Barbara Shukitt-Hale, PhD–Neuroscience and Aging Lab, lead the conversation on all things strawberry. Just in time for prime strawberry-picking season in June, they will present tips for growing and picking the fruit, and will share delicious recipes that showcase its sweet flavor profile. The group will also discuss the surprising health and neurological benefits of adding it into ones diet. Immediately following the discussion guests will join their instructors at a reception where they can ask questions and sample delicious recipes using the fruit. The discussion will be held at the Boston Center for Adult Education located at 122 Arlington Street in Boston, MA and is $15 per person. Registration is required.
