Leading Pro LED Lighting Manufacturer Launches NVIS White Gooseneck Map Light

BOISE, Idaho - April 13, 2015 - PRLog -- The new NVIS Gooseneck Map Light features a standard MIL-DTL-D38999/20 Connector for easy military installations plus an extra firm 10” flexible Gooseneck for lighting placement. With full 0-100% dimming control, it is designed for illuminating instrumentation or small cargo bay areas such as those found in aircraft, tanks, boating vessels, or other use applications. This light is perfect for flexible illumination needs with different color options available, or with the standard MIL-STD-3009 NVIS/NVG compatible white led lighting. This light is particularly designed for harsh environments with its extra firm Gooseneck for solid positioning of the light source over a wide temperature range. Utilizing a wide head, additional light is provided through 20 NVIS/NVG LED's providing an incredible 45 lumen output in NVIS white light.

In addition to full dimming control, this light contains over voltage protection, reverse polarity protection, and a "constant light output" during any voltage swing from 18Vdc to 34Vdc for those systems that experience high load demands or voltage fluctuations from the power system.

Made out of durable aluminum construction, the light is ready for any harsh punishment. With full tactile feedback on the dimming knob this light will not break if the dimming knob is over-torqued like other plastic models. Being mechanically robust and LED efficient, this light is a great addition to any application needing a 40,000 hour LED life span. Different lengths for the gooseneck can be provided upon request as well as standard “White” light can be ordered too.
