New Project To Help Find Missing People

During 2014, there were 635,155 missing persons records entered into the FBI's National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.

FRESNO, Calif. - April 13, 2015 - PRLog -- People disappear for many reasons. A common misconception is that a person must be missing for at least 24 hours before being legally classified as missing. In instances where there is evidence of violence, foul play, or an unusual absence, law enforcement agencies often stress the importance of beginning an investigation promptly.

If you are worried about someone's whereabouts, or wish to locate someone who is not easy to find, you should find a private investigation agency that can provide a quality missing persons investigator that will use advanced techniques to help find the person that you are looking for.

If you need answers about the whereabouts of a missing person, you simply cannot rely on missing person posters, public internet searches, or other official channels. There are simply too many missing persons and too few resources.

I have spent 20 years working as a police officer in California. I have seen things that would bring most people to tears. I chose this career because I decided to dedicate myself to helping others in need. The most rewarding part of my career has been locating missing people and reuniting them with their loved ones. I have since transitioned from public service to the private sector as a licensed professional investigator.

I have received many calls, as a licensed investigator, from people who have  a loved one who has gone missing. It is common that the missing person is often a child who has run away, or has been abducted. Sometimes local law enforcement is successful in finding these missing individuals. However, if someone has called me it is usually because local law enforcement or other official resources have been unsuccessful in locating them. Many of the people who call me about their missing loved ones have limited financial resources. My agency does everything that we can to help these clients, often at no cost. However, we do have operating expenses that have to be met and regrettably we have had to turn away some of those who have sought our assistance.

We have decided to launch a GoFundMe account to raise funds in order to expand the assistance that we can provide in these types of cases. To learn more about how you can help us help others, please visit http://www.gofundme.com/sisfresno.
