Sunday Brunch Featured at MET Bethesda

BOSTON - April 13, 2015 - PRLog -- (BETHESDA, MD) – MET Bethesda, Kathy Sidell’s newest addition to the renowned MET Restaurant Group, announces its new Sunday brunch which includes favorites from the lunch menu alongside MET’s signature breakfast items. Doors open for brunch on Sunday, April 12th, 2015 from 11:30AM-3:00PM.

Every Sunday, MET Bethesda will serve a broad range of brunch fare including twists on classic menu items such as Capt. Crunch French Toast with fresh berries ($10), Biscuit Benny MD Style with Chesapeake Crab and old bay hollandaise ($22), and the Breakfast Sandwich Burger, a sunny-side-up egg with crispy ham and American cheese ($16). For those looking to keep brunch simple, options such as the Three Cheese Omelet with gruyere, cheddar, mozzarella ($12) and the Stack of Pancakes with classic, cinnamon streusel, and red, white and blue add-ons ($8-$12.50) provide brunch purists with plates within their comfort zone. For those that would like to emphasize the “lunch” in the “brunch,” MET will be serving traditional items such as the Back Bay Chopped Salad with cheese, egg, red onion, tomatoes, beets, broccoli, corn, avocado, and bacon ($14), New England Lobster Roll (market price), and the MET Club Sandwich with chicken breast, brie, avocado, and bacon ($14).

Small, shareable bites are also available from the popular Char-Bar with seared options over hickory and oak-fueled flame. Choose from Sweet Kabocha Pumpkin with dukkah and brown sugar ($5 for 2), Salmon Belly ($6), Prime Tuna Sashimi ($8), Brown Sugar Beef ($8 for 2), and Chicken Thigh with hot tangy soy ($6 for 2).

In addition to delectable food items, MET Bethesda is offering the ‘Crafty Mary’ menu, a personalized Bloody Mary menu with over 13,000 combinations! The Crafty Mary menu starts with the guest’s spirit of choice, including everything from Belvedere and Ketel One to less traditional Tanqueray, Bulleit Bourbon and of course Don Julio for a morning “Maria.”  Once they’ve picked their poison, MET ups the ante by offering a huge selection of fixins & garnishes. Keep it standard with celery, lemon, lime and olives, or live on the wild side by adding items such as a Mini Cheese Burger (+$5), Shrimp (+$5) Oysters (+$3) or all of the above!

Next up, the beverage will be topped off with a tasty rim of Old Bay or for the bacon fanatics’, bacon salt! Lastly, guests can finish it off with an extra kick by adding some heat & tang including MET’s custom sauce, Sriracha, horseradish, Worcestershire, and green or red tabasco.
