Women in the NAACP Las Vegas Branch host Mother's Day Seniors Spring High Tea

LAS VEGAS - April 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Women in the NAACP Las Vegas Branch 1111 (WIN) will host a Mother’s Day Seniors Tea event, at Nevada Partners, 710 W Lake Mead Boulevard, North Las Vegas, NV.   The afternoon tea setting event takes place, Thursday, May 7, from 2:30pm to 5:30pm honoring a community icon and founder of change.

WIN will pay tribute to the late Dr.  Sarann Knight-Preddy for her contribution to the NAACP and the work she accomplished serving the Las Vegas community that will continue to inspire and evolve throughout generations.

Themed “A Healthy You” seniors will enjoy a light lunch of delicious sandwiches, flavorful teas and decadent desserts and entertainment while celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Knight-Preddy and mothers in our community.

Sponsored by CareMore Health Plan of Nevada, this event is free and open to seniors and caregivers. We encourage seniors to wear their unique high tea attire with hats and to pre-registration for the event.
