NEW YORK - April 11, 2015 - PRLog -- The Harvest, John McNaughton's new psychological horror film opened simultaneously in selected theaters and on IFC in-demand channel, instantly rocketing to the top of the list of films being watched today on IFC.

Maybe you caught his groundbreaking film Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, which is considered among the top-ten of all-time horror films. It looks like The Harvest is destined to become another one of McNaughton's cult classics.

His longtime friend Steven Hager has given the film a thumb's up and five stars on Abakus, and reveals some little-known information concerning McNaughton's early life, and why he disappeared from Hollywood for a decade.

"The film opened simultaneously yesterday in theaters and on IFC in-demand," writes Hager, "and instantly zoomed to number two on their list. I predict this film will soon be elevated to cult status, so you might want to check it out."
