Makers of Burger Master Pitch Online to Raise Funds for Innovative New Mini Burger Press

OAKVILLE, Ontario - April 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Smart Cookie Home Essentials, the makers of the popular Burger Master^® burger press and freezer container, are introducing their latest product on Kickstarter.com, Burger Master Sliders.

Inventors all over the world have embraced sites like Kickstarter.

In line with Kickstarter guidelines, inventors have a set number of days to raise all the funds, or the project receives nothing. The project has a 30-day fundraising window, from start to finish. If the allotted budget ($5,000 CAD) isn't raised before May 8, all pledges are cancelled.

When asked about why Kickstarter was appealing, Greg Liberman, President of Smart Cookie Home Essentials notes, "the ability to spread the word quickly online to a lot of people, and keep them updated on the status of the project is invaluable. An added advantage is Kickstarter's global reach."

Smart Cookie's last project, The Burger Master was released on Kickstarter last summer and raised 180% of it's goal within 20 days. The project's success helped with tooling costs and the initial purchase of material.

The Burger Master Sliders takes the design concepts of The Burger Master and applies them to 2 ounce mini-burgers, also know as sliders.  "The Burger Master Sliders is unique in the market because of its functionality and convenience", says Liberman.  "It presses 10 two ounce sliders in one step and also acts as a freezer container that you can use to easily remove as few or as many as you need, when you need them.  The container stacks easily in any fridge, freezer or cooler.  It can also be used for any soft food like pulled pork, meat sauce, chili, etc... which makes it ideal for portion control."

Liberman noted that the importance of choosing the right material for the product in the design stage.  "We were very careful when selecting the material.  It's a very high quality, food contact safe plastic that is manufactured in the USA. We then mould it in Canada where we can keep a close eye on quality control."
