DALLAS - April 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Celebrating their landmark tenth year, guests descended upon the Frontiers of Flight Museum on Saturday, March 28 for the 2015 No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party, presented by the Purple Foundation. This year, the “Meet Me Under the Yum Yum Tree” theme lent the bash an exotic, Bollywood flair in fashion, music, cocktails and dare we say “yum-raising” for AIDS Services of Dallas (ASD).

Close to 2,000 guests indulged in a vast array of delectable desserts from 20 of the city’s finest establishments including Baby Cakes, Celebrity Café & Bakery, and Komali, among others. Refreshments provided by William Grant & Sons and Ben E. Keith were savored, especially No Tie’s  2015 signature “The Bollywood” cocktail, a vibrant, exotic mix of Reyka Vodka, Fever-Tree Ginger Beer, and lime juice. Numerous guests were clad in traditional Eastern ensembles in vibrant colors and prints, many donning the gorgeous costuming attire and accessories of Dallas-based fashion and set designer Prashe. The evening comprised of festive dance performances, energetic party-flavored tunes spun by DJ Brandon Olds, and a silent and live auction with such items as a breathtaking trip to Belize and weekend getaway with a Model S Tesla rental and king suite overnight stay at the Highland Dallas Hotel.

Co-Chairs David Nelson and Dennis Kershner, Honorary Chairs Jody and Sterling O’Donnell, and Media Ambassador Amy Vanderoef formed the all-star committee that night. Joe Pacetti received the Sheila Dolezal Humanitarian Award for his volunteerism and unbounded support throughout the years.
