United Country Continues Valuable Support of National Land Conference for RLI in Tucson

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - April 10, 2015 - PRLog -- United Country auctioneers and real estate experts arrived in full force at the National Land Conference for the REALTORS® Land Institute in Tucson, Ariz., March 23 through 24. United Country Real Estate, the largest national traditional and auction, lifestyle and rural real estate company, was a proud Gold Sponsor, and the firm’s affiliates made up roughly 10 percent of those in attendance.

Mike Duffy, president of United Country Real Estate, was the keynote speaker for ALC designees and discussed “Placing a Value on Your Business.” Other United Country team members were on-hand to aid the learning process in any way they could during the three-day event, including Jimmie Dean Coffey, international director of development for United Country Auction Services, who taught a course entitled “Types of Land Auctions.”

“Overall, United Country was extremely well-represented at the event and participated in many valuable conversations with professional land brokers from around the country,” Coffey said. “The comments in the halls were that this was the best land conference yet. I have met dozens of new lifelong contacts at this outstanding event.”

George Clift, 2014 RLI president, requested Mike Jones, president of United Country Auction Services, to take the lead advising on and conducting the “Greatest Cowboy Auction on Earth.”

“After months of consultation, preparation, soliciting great items and assembling a top-notch auction team, the live auction raised a record-breaking amount of funds for the organization,” Jones said.

Donations from the live and silent auction will go toward educational funding for the Land Institute and member benefits. In addition, cash donations were received for the Land Education Foundation’s “Feed the Need,” an effort to support educational needs of land professionals across the nation.

“The National Land Conference is the place for serious land professionals to come together to discuss topics crucial to the land real estate business and the overall welfare of our country’s most valuable assets,” Jones said. “United Country believes in the RLI mission and we proudly support their designation and educational programs.”
