D.R. Horton’s Southeast Florida Division to Break Ground on New Headquarters

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - April 10, 2015 - PRLog -- D.R. Horton’s Southeast Florida Division is pleased to announce that it will soon begin construction on its new headquarters in Coconut Creek. A ceremonial groundbreaking event for the 22,000-square-foot building is scheduled to be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, at 6123 Lyons Road, with Coconut Creek Mayor Becky Tooley; Vice Mayor Mikkie Belvedere; and three City Commissioners in attendance.

D.R. Horton currently has 20 communities across Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin counties, and the Southeast Florida Division employs approximately 100 people. The spacious new headquarters offers a central location for all of the division’s business operations and plenty of room for future expansion. The building will also house D.R. Horton’s in-house title and mortgage companies, DHI Title and DHI Mortgage, and a beautiful design center showroom where customers can view custom finishes, flooring options, cabinets and many other upgrades for their new homes.

The builder expects its new headquarters to enhance the region’s economic development as employees and customers represent a brand new customer base for neighboring businesses.
