FORTRUST Hosts First Denver DevOpsDays April 23-24

DENVER - April 9, 2015 - PRLog -- FORTRUST is hosting the first Denver DevOpsDays, a technical conference that brings development and operations together by organizing a meeting of developers, system administrators and technology professionals. With presenters from companies such as Etsy, Twitter, Disney, Google, and Oracle, all experts in their field who have embraced the DevOps movement, many great ideas will be shared for attendees to implement within their organization.

DevOpsDays was started in 2009 by Patrick Debois in Ghent, Belgium, and has since been held in technology hubs all over the world. This is the first time that DevOpsDays has been held in Colorado. It will be hosted by Denver’s own FORTRUST, one of the leading data centers in North America.

DevOps is an ideology and movement that is shifting the culture and changing the way IT works. This topic is covered in detail in WIRED Magazine article “The IT Culture War: The Struggle to Adopt DevOps”, authored by Denver DevOpsDays organizer Jason Hand.

The DevOps wheelhouse consists of many topics surrounding continuous delivery, continuous integration, high availability services, agile infrastructure, and containerization, to name a few. The event will cover the high level topics of culture, automation, measurement, and sharing, while also expanding the discussion and understanding of DevOps to a broader audience.

The two-day program includes 22 speakers presenting on various industry topics. In addition to Etsy, Twitter, Disney, Google, and Oracle, there will also be tech professionals from Chef, Next Big Sound, Librato, InQuicker, GitHub, ReadyTalk, PingIdentity, FILD, Notion, MoogSoft, Belly, and Delphix.
