T2 Storage Sponsor Newark Town FC

April 9, 2015 - PRLog -- T2 Storage Solutions who specialise in cost effective industrial fit outs, refurbishments and storage solutions recently decided to sponsor Newark Town FC U16's.

The team are currently flying high in the Chad Mansfield Youth Football League.

However, there was a slight twist as Mars Food UK Ltd also offered to sponsor the club. At first, T2 didn’t see a problem as they felt both sponsors logo’s could be placed on the front of the clubs shirts. However, they were then told this contravened the FA’s sponsorship rules as only 1 x logo could be displayed. So, T2 decided to have their logo’s on the shoulder area on the shirts.

The kit was debuted on Tues 24^th March – 7pm at Arnold Town’s ground as Newark Town FC had got through to the final of the Notts FA – U16’s (Sat) – FA Challenge Shield Final against Dunkirk FC U16’s.

Before the game the conventional team photo was taken – along with a team banner that also displayed the T2 logo’s but what they also did was ask the lads to face the goal and take a photo from the rear. Nick Bartello, Director at T2 Storage said...”this made a unique photo as the lads were having a laugh and it highlighted the difference in size between players and you can just about make out the Proici logo too.”

To get to the final Newark Town FC had already knocked out the Mansfield Town Academy side in the semi finals which was an amazing result but unfortunately Dunkirk beat Newark on the night of the final 0-2.

Nick went onto say, “ It feels great to be able to sponsor a youth football team that my son plays for and I am happy to be part of it. Although his team lost in the final, one thing was for sure, their kit looked the best...”
