CARROLLTON, Texas - April 8, 2015 - PRLog -- WHO: Operation Kindness, North Texas’ original no-kill animal shelter.

WHAT: Operation Kindness is calling for volunteers to foster and help save the lives of hundreds of kittens.

WHEN: The shelter will host two brief informational webinars:

https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7594006121333647874

·         Monday, April 20, at 7 p.m. Register at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/6176856579409461762

WHY: Increased daylight and warm weather yields North Texas its annual “kitten season,” that period of time when cat births peak. “In 2014, Operation Kindness saved the lives of 475 new-born kittens,” said Jim Hanophy, Chief Executive Officer. “Our call for new foster volunteers is a key strategy to saving the lives of as many kittens as possible. By placing them into foster homes, we can ensure they receive the care they need until they are old enough to be adopted.”

DETAILS: Operation Kindness provides all the supplies and support needed to have a rewarding foster experience, including: food, pen and medical support. There is no out-of-pocket expense required from fosters. The commitment can be as short as one day, a weekend or up to nine weeks. The foster volunteer chooses the timeframe that suits their schedule.
