Follow on Google News | College of Business Administration Associate Professor Awarded Kent State Scholar of the MonthBy: Kent State University "I am honored to receive this award,” said Anokhin. “This recognizes our continued efforts to build a robust entrepreneurship research program at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation.” Anokhin’s research focuses on entrepreneurship and the interaction of firms in the global landscape, as well as firm-level and macroeconomics factors driving corporate innovation. His pioneering work on capturing arbitrage opportunities has provided novel insights into new venture creation as well as entrepreneurial migration. He also researches social entrepreneurship and works on developing metrics for social innovation. Anokhin was recently awarded (http://www.prlog.org/ Prior to joining the College of Business Administration in 2006, Anokhin was the deputy executive of Valmi, a Russian bankruptcy and takeover consultancy, and an auditor at Audit Elektronika, a provider of financial auditing and consulting.
