By: POOL4TOOL AG “Our clear process and manufacturing focus and a great product, which offers real value for our customers and enables profitable growth are the basis of our corporate strategy. Our dedication to the requirements of direct procurement is unmatched by any other provider and our 15 years of experience in this field makes us unique,” comments Thomas Dieringer, CEO of POOL4TOOL AG. “As a full-service provider with the only All-in-One Supply Collaboration Platform and specialized subsidiaries focusing on procurement consulting and EDI integration we are one of the leading solution providers worldwide. At this point I would also like to thank the POOL4TOOL customers for their trust in us and our employees for their commitment during the past year. Together we have made 2014 a successful year with sustainable growth. We are very proud that, according to our latest customer satisfaction survey, 88 % of our customers recommend the POOL4TOOL solutions and working with us.” Adaptations to Current Market Needs A key product focus due to high market demand in 2014 was once again supplier management. Strong alliances with partners like Bisnode (D&B) and riskmethods allow for the integration of their specific know-how into the POOL4TOOL platform and strategically add value for the customer. Other requirements addressed were related to having consistent procure-to-pay processes from requisition to invoicing, and the integration and management of service orders. “POOL4TOOL is known to accelerate the market with innovative solutions,” says Thomas Dieringer. Collaboration with customers has led to the development of many new processes in 2014, such as: Soft Auctions working as “smart” extensions in sourcing, global demand aggregation and analysis of raw material costs and hourly rate developments through cost breakdowns, benchmarks and market indices. The customer renewal rate of 90 % is higher than average because in 2014, a large number of clients expanded their all-in-one platform with one or more additional modules again. In addition to numerous module and process enhancements for existing clients, several major projects were started with new clients including market leaders, such as: KSB, RHI, Leica, KEBA, Vitra, MVV, Pintsch Bubenzer and Röchling Automotive. International POOL4TOOL offices in the United States and Singapore also recorded growth. In addition to the expansion of projects, the US office underwent significant reorganization focused on personal growth after a management change. The higher customer support demand for POOL4TOOL Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. also contributed to the company’s growth in 2014, which was due to a large number of international rollouts by existing customers to their subsidiaries and affiliates in the region including in China, India, Malaysia, South Korea Taiwan and Thailand. Combined Expertise The competencies and performance of the POOL4TOOL Group, which goes beyond its core business of developing and distributing software solutions, are concentrated in separate entities to ensure the separation and optimal concentration of the competencies for specific fields. Subsidiary, POOL4TOOL EDI, a joint venture with EDI integration specialists Global Digital Post (GDP) is the strategic response to the growing demand for end-to-end processes from the ERP system of the supplier to the ERP system of the purchasing company. Thus suppliers, customers and logistics service providers can be connected quickly and efficiently with POOL4TOOL users. The business consulting division continued to play a central role within the organization. Having the established consulting subsidiary Alengis contributes significantly to maximizing customer’s use of the eSolution, which leads to greater acceptance and customer satisfaction. Alengis was strategically reorganized in the third quarter of 2014. The former managing director, John Benad, retired from the company and was replaced by Thomas Dieringer, CEO of POOL4TOOL AG. Further personnel changes include the addition of experienced consultants to ensure a broad range of expertise within the Alengis team. In terms of key topics, priorities were aligned more closely with current market needs and focused in particular on the areas of category strategy, lead buyer concepts and change management for the highest possible internal use of POOL4TOOL solutions. Outlook for 2015 With the success of the past fiscal year in the books, POOL4TOOL aims to grow much faster than the market also in 2015 and to increase profitability. The outlook for the company remains extremely positive as the high market potential of both key features of the company’s strategy, the All-in-One Supply Collaboration Platform and the Software-as- End
