TV Personality Kim Gravel to Speak at Atlanta-area Women’s Conference

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - April 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Television personality and beauty pageant coach Kim Gravel, star of Lifetime Network’s new show “Kim of Queens,” will be a keynote speaker at a new conference designed to empower women in their personal and professional lives.

The first annual Soul Healing Conference will be held Sept. 25 through 27 at Callaway Gardens, located at 17800 U.S. 27 in Pine Mountain. The conference, which begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, will focus on both personal and business themes and will emphasize empowerment, success, healing and education.

Gravel’s keynote address will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the lunch keynote session beginning at 12:10 p.m. In her presentation, titled “Put the POW in POWER for your life,” Gravel will discuss how to live a life full of abundance, prosperity and strength by clarifying purpose, determining one’s outlook on life and taking steps of faith.

Gravel (http://kimgravel.com/) is a veteran television host, entrepreneur and leader who has a passion for people and their stories. In addition to starring in the hit weekly docu-series “Kim of Queens,” she has logged thousands of hours as host of award-winning talk shows "Friends & Neighbors" and "Atlanta Live," is a regular contributor on the Steve Harvey Show and the Headline News Network, is featured on the SiriusXM Radio show “Dirty Pop with Lance Bass” in the weekly advice column segment "Gravel Mail.”

At the age of 19, Gravel became one of the youngest Miss Georgias in the state pageant’s history. Today, she is a certified Life Coach, mentor, advisor and consultant. She is the lead singer and songwriter of recording group Beloved, entertaining thousands across the country every year.

Other speakers and break-out sessions

The other keynote speakers at the Soul Healing Conference include "People Development Expert" Maria Higgins and business executive and entrepreneur Dr. Monikah Ogando. A fourth keynote speaker, to be determined, will offer an address during the closing session at 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27. Break-out sessions will be given by other notable leaders, authors and entrepreneurs, including Ellen Baker, Dr. M. Sebrena Jackson, Althea Lawton-Thompson, Dr. Lepora Menefee, Richard Rutledge, Mel Clemmons and Mernice Oliver. A welcome event on Sept. 25 will be hosted by Pastor Julius Miles of Kingdom Generation Church in Orlando, Florida.

Sessions will be provided on personal subjects including self-image, trust issues, value, vices, financial health, transparency, interdependency and leaving a legacy and business topics including fundamentals in business, being successful, branding and marketing, value in the workplace, network/net worth and entrepreneurship.

All proceeds raised from the conference will be donated to the hosting nonprofit, the N.S. Weaver Restoration House & Outreach Mission (http://www.nsweaverrestoration.org/). N.S. Weaver Restoration House and Outreach Mission is a “safe haven” human service resource agency and transitional housing facility located in the Atlanta area.
