RIM Solutions Provides Marketing Support to Local Cancer Foundation Rays of Hope

ATLANTA - April 8, 2015 - PRLog -- RIM Solutions, a utility focused strategic marketing and research firm is stepping outside its industry and providing services to Rays of Hope (ROH). ROH, is a nonprofit organization that helps single mothers with their basic needs when they are going through breast cancer treatment. RIM Project Manager Jillian M. LaPorta has been working closely with ROH Founder Tenora Finley on all aspects of the organization’s marketing and online presence.

According to LaPorta, she is personally invested in the organization and is honored to work alongside its founder. “I’ve had several family members affected by this disease and I’ve always wanted to give back” LaPorta explains. “I am very grateful to RIM for providing me the opportunity to collaborate with Tenora. There is no one else I would rather work with on a project like this, and no better cause to which I would rather align my time to.”

Among the population of women diagnosed with cancer, single mothers have a higher rate of depression, which can hinder and/or prevent recovery. “When it comes right down to it, women need to support each other even more so when support is limited and there is no return on investment and the feeling that comes from helping someone who couldn’t help themselves, is more than gratifying.”LaPorta said.

This idea coincides with ROH’s ideology and principles, instilled by Finley. Finley, who has been in remission from stage 2 breast cancer since 2011, started the foundation with the realization that when it comes to breast cancer, recovery can take a village. “If it wasn’t for the friends and family that helped me through that time, I’m not sure how my sons and I would have made it through.” says Finely. “I realized that there are so many women less fortunate than me. I saw a need and decided to fill it. RIM Solutions has been essential in telling my story. Jillian has really captured our mission and for that I feel very blessed.”
