State of Kansas Selects HANCOCK ONE, WAP Online

TOPEKA, Kan. - April 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Hancock Software, Inc. (http://www.hancocksoftware.com/), a mobile and cloud-based energy efficiency software provider, announced that Kansas Housing Resources Corporation has selected its Hancock One platform (http://www.hancocksoftware.com/platform/) to help automate activities within its Weatherization Assistance Program.

Hancock’s goal is to help its customers use technology to run their energy efficiency programs more productively—and present information in an easy-to-understand, actionable format. Hancock One provides an online energy program management and tracking system powered by data captured in the field using mobile energy assessment apps (http://www.hancocksoftware.com/products/heat/).

The Hancock One (http://www.hancocksoftware.com/products/wap/) platform is used today to automate more than 50 statewide energy efficiency funding initiatives.

Kansas Housing Resources Corporation will utilize the new system to provide its staff members, subgrantees and their contractors and crews with an online system designed to stream data capture, reduce program administration overhead and streamline compliance reporting. The new system will support DOE and LIHEAP’s 2015 initiatives, like an embedded ASHRAE 62.2 - 2013 building ventilation calculator and LIHEAP Performance Measure reporting.  The entire weatherization process, from client eligibility to inspection of completed energy efficiency retrofits will be performed online or in the field, resulting in significant productivity improvements. The Hancock One WAP Online system will assist in implementing controls around the Department of Energy’s requirements for a Quality Work and Management Plan and QCI protocols.
