Amazing Pet Expos Announces Two-Day Show for Tampa Bay in 2016

TAMPA, Fla. - April 6, 2015 - PRLog -- The 2015 Tampa Bay Pet Expo, held on March 28^th at Florida State Fairgrounds between 10:00am and 6:00pm, hosted over 11,000 attendees as they played, shopped, and learned with their pets throughout the day. About 50 to 75 Pets were also adopted from the 29 local animal rescue organizations who were featured in the Petfinder.com Mega-Adoption area.

Due to popular demand and interest, Amazing Pet Expos has announced plans to expand the Tampa Bay event to a two-day expo in 2016. This follows two earlier two-day events held in Southern California and Las Vegas, while plans to expand San Diego and South Florida have already been declared.

“We’ve received so many requests from exhibitors and attendees over the years about moving to a larger two-day show in order to reach more people and make a larger impact,” says Ethan Barnett, Vice President of Community Partnerships for Amazing Pet Expos, “A huge part of our initiative is to help people become better pet companions, and we felt that the addition of the extra day in South Florida really helps accomplish that. We’re so ecstatic to expand our format to further benefit the local Tampa Bay pet community as we continue to unveil phase one of our two-part rebrand. We can’t wait to reveal all of the exciting additions in 2015 and 2016.”

The show featured educational and entertaining guests such as Animal Planet’s Irwin “The General” Raymer from TANKED, exotic animals like lemurs and alligators from Suncoast Primate Sanctuary, and lure chasing from Swift Paws! In addition, the Animal Coalition of Tampa (ACT) administered 97 vaccinations throughout the eight-hour day. The event was a hit to both attendees and the 113 exhibitors that were on site to interact with current and potential customers and patrons of their for-profit and non-profit organizations.
