St Paul Kitchen Remodeling Contractors Finish Special Project in Summit Hill

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - April 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Titus Contracting, St Paul kitchen remodeling contractors, recently completed a special kitchen remodeling project in the St Paul neighborhood of Summit Hill.

The kitchen remodelers worked with the client to design and build the perfect new kitchen for the clients that met their wants and needs. Titus Contracting removed load-bearing walls and installed new beams throughout to support the walls. The kitchen remodeling company also installed new electrical throughout the entire kitchen, as well as eco-friendly LED recessed lighting and strip lighting for under the kitchen cabinets.

Titus Contracting also installed a Wirsbo Radiant Floor Heating System, which was a luxury item that the clients wanted. A Wirsbo Radiant Floor Heating System will help keep the kitchen’s tile floors warm, which makes them very comfortable to walk on in bare feet.  This system replaces the large radiators that previously heated the space.

New drywall will help complete the new look of the kitchen. The old drywall and plaster was starting to chip and wear away, so Titus Contracting put in new drywall to give the room a more fresh and modern look.

Dura Supreme Maple cabinets with Cambria countertops were also installed throughout the kitchen.  New millwork, Marvin windows and a new fiberglass exterior door were put in as well. The door, windows and millwork are new but they have the look of original, which helps the home maintain its old-fashioned, traditional charm.

The kitchen sink was also relocated during the kitchen remodeling project. It was moved to a new peninsula-style countertop that also features a spot to eat at as well as a work area for the homeowner. Titus Contracting installed USB outlets and other media connections there too.
