Samsung support to Generations For Peace for 8th Year as Regional Partner

AMMAN, Jordan - April 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Samsung, the global technology giant and TOP Partner of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), today renewed their regional partnership with Generations For Peace, the only peace-through-sport organisation officially recognised by the IOC, for an eighth year.

The renewed commitment is founded on the shared values at the heart of the relationship, and the success of Generations For Peace programmes around the region, using unique sport-based games as a powerful vehicle for education, behaviour change and youth development. The support is part of the “Hope For Children” programme, Samsung’s globally-respected Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.

Expressing Samsung’s commitment to Generations For Peace, Mr. Bumsuk Hong, President of Samsung Electronics Levant said, “Since 2008, our partnership with Generations For Peace has been driven by our shared interest in social development through sport and education, and our shared focus on innovation, quality, impact and sustainability.
