Dr. Orcutt Opens New and Improved Dental Office in Fair Oaks, CA

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - April 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Sacramento, Calif., dentist Dr. Brian Orcutt announces he has moved his practice, Orcutt Family Dentistry, to a new building that will make getting dental work more convenient and comfortable for his patients.

The building itself isn't new, but Dr. Orcutt gutted and remodeled the entire interior.

The first thing patients will notice when they enter is how much larger and more comfortable the new space is: 3,400 square feet, up from only 1,300. Not all of it is being used, yet – there is room to add three more operatories as demand for them grows.

Though it's not visible, the "biggest deal" for patients, Dr. Orcutt said, is the new sterilization equipment. Looking somewhat like a complicated dishwasher, the instrument-washing machine is a top of the line SciCan. It eliminates the risk of rust, saves staff time (and the danger of being cut while washing) and surpasses even the industry-standard ultrasonic cleaning achieved at the Carmichael location. Retrieving the sterilized instrument cassettes from their storage location is triggered by a floor pedal, meaning staff members don't have to touch even the cabinet doors with their sterile gloves.

Though contamination from dental equipment is always very rare, this new sterilization method will reassure patients that the risk in Dr. Orcutt's office has dropped to nearly negligible.

Other patient amenities include comfortable new chairs and free wifi.

The new site will benefit staff, too, with a more efficient work flow, improved safety when handling used instruments, a separate office for the office manager, and a full break room.
