The Andy Mohr Chevrolet Blood Drive Will Be Held On Wednesday, April 8thFrom 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM on Wednesday, April 8th, Andy Mohr Chevrolet in Plainfield, IN is hosting a blood drive. All donations will go to the Indiana Blood Center and benefit patients at over 60+ hospitals.
Whether participants are donating blood for the benefit of a friend or family member, or are simply looking for a way to help others, the act of blood donation is a simple, painless process that goes a long way. Participants are asked to bring their driver’s license, donor card, or two other forms of identification for the registration process. The act of donating blood takes less than an hour and will require a small physical before getting started. A technician will need to check pulse, blood pressure, body temperature, and hemoglobin levels after registration. Next, blood will be drawn slowly for 8 to 10 minutes with a refreshment period occurring right after. Participants are encouraged to eat a light meal before and after donating. All blood donated will benefit hospitals that have partnered with the Indiana Blood Center. The Indiana Blood Center provides quality blood and laboratory-related services and connects hospital labs with blood banks and patients. By supplying blood and blood products to over 60 hospitals throughout the state of Indiana, the Indiana Blood Center is a premier blood supplier. Their goal is to respect and reward volunteers for their contributions to the organization while providing open communications to all parties involved. To give back to the community, the Andy Mohr Chevrolet Blood Drive will be held at 2712 E Main Street in Plainfield on Wednesday, April 8th from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Participants with any questions about the blood drive can contact Andy Mohr Chevrolet at 855-735-8726. Photo: https://www.prlog.org/ End
