EDISON, N.J. - April 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. has been named the exclusive leasing agent for Lincoln Place, a 247,985-square-foot office building located in Central New Jersey’s Middlesex County. The firm's East Rutherford, N.J.-based team of Jason Fray, Jun Choi and is handling the assignment.

Located at 2147 Lincoln Highway in Edison, the former Edison Towne Corporate Centre site was recently acquired by American Equity Partners. The company develops and manages office, retail and residential properties with a focus on quality projects in superior locations with a strong tenant mix. The new owners have launched a significant capital improvement program to rebrand and reposition the property, which currently has 164,173 square feet available for immediate occupancy.

“Lincoln Place is undergoing a major transformation that will result in a property of superior quality and value in the marketplace,” said Duenas. “Ownership’s responsiveness and considerable investment is evidence of its commitment to reintroducing a product that meets the needs and desires of contemporary office tenants.”

Upgrades to the four-story office building include a new full-service cafeteria and shared conference center, as well as a fully equipped fitness center. Enhancements to the lobby and exterior convey a modern look and feel, and, for the first time, tenants will be offered corporate naming opportunities.

“Quality properties are always in demand,” said American Equity Partners’ David Elkouby. “We believe the revitalization of Lincoln Place will draw businesses who are seeking an outstanding image and on-site amenities at an attractive price, plus a desirable location with easy access to the entire metropolitan region.”

Optimally located immediately off of Route 287 at Exit 2B and minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway, Lincoln Place also is less than two miles from the Metuchen and Edison train stations and four miles from the MetroPark and New Brunswick train stations. A shuttle service is planned to and from the stations for tenants and visitors.
