Janette Gleason Joins Team StarShine for the Global Learning XPRIZE

SURPRISE, Ariz. - April 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Janette Gleason, founder and CEO of Gleason Consulting Group, LLC, joined Team StarShine for the Global Learning XPRIZE created by Trish McCarty, founder of StarShine Academy in the effort to bring education to 250 million children worldwide beginning with local Phoenix children.

Gleason is an award-winning automated marketing and customer relationship management expert. As an Infusionsoft Certified Consultant, she helps businesses develop marketing campaigns to cultivate the relationships they have with existing and potential customers. Since establishing her business in 2011, she very quickly became highly sought after for her marketing expertise.

Prior to consulting, Gleason taught elementary school for 10 years and remains passionate about education. She is known for her “see it and achieve it” attitude that will help drive and motivate Team StarShine on its quest to win Global Learning XPRIZE.

Team StarShine is in the process of developing an open source and scalable technology solution that will help children teach themselves the basics of reading, writing and math. The group is also working to recruit others to join its global StarShine street team to raise awareness for the technology solution so that children will then use it and progress toward overcoming the literacy problems can begin. The team that creates a solution with the greatest gains in the three educational areas will be awarded a $10 million grand prize.

The end goal of the XPRIZE initiative is to give youth, primarily those in disadvantaged situations greater opportunities to improve their chances for success and, in turn, make an impact on their communities, countries and world.
