Conifer House Celebrates Grand Opening April 16th

CORVALLIS, Ore. - April 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Soon residents in Benton County can begin calling Conifer House, home. The public will get their first glance of the newly remodeled 26,000 sq. ft. facility during the open house, April 16^th from 3 p.m.–6 p.m. People can take tours, ask questions, get information and meet the staff.

The staff at Conifer House is led by Executive Director, Sue Jensen. She has a passion for senior care and feels rewarded through caring for others. “Senior care is my passion; my calling. Working in assisted living and memory care you know, at the end of the day, that what you’ve done has made a difference in someone else’s life. Not all jobs allow or this perk.”

Jensen goes on to explain what sets Conifer apart. “Conifer House is much smaller than most other facilities within Corvallis (14 Resident Care apartments/residents and 33 Memory Care beds). This allows us to remain involved with our residents.”

Along with new construction and remodeling also came an upgrade in technology. Renovating their charting system and communication tools/styles, which allows for faster response time to resident needs.

When new residents enter Conifer House they are sure to be greeted with a warm smile from a staff that wants to provide the best care possible.
