BBS, Inc. attends Boston Leaders Conference

April 2, 2015 - PRLog -- On Sunday, March 29^th, BBS, Inc. attended the quarterly Boston Leaders Conference at the Sheraton Hotel. This conference is a chance for employees, recent or seasoned, to hear branch managers and executive coaches speak on behalf of the company. The speakers left BBS, Inc. employees inspired, and with some amazing insight and motivational quotes.

The conference started off with the Top Leaders ceremony, where branch managers reward one leader from their office with a top leader pin. BBS, Inc. is proud to congratulate and reward Zak Blawie for all his effort, and hard work. He now proudly wears his pin on every suit jacket.

“I am honored to have earned the top leaders pin. I understand the opportunity at hand and set small goals every day to put myself in a position to be successful. Earning this pin means so much to me because it shows that I am progressing in the right direction, and I want this to be a stepping stone that propels me to further success” says Zak, on his award.

Executive coach Jim Rothermel delved deep into great work habits, and reminded that it is not how hard you work, it is the results that come of it. “Take initiative at whatever it is that you desire to do. Push yourself out of your comfort zone. The worst thing you can do in life is nothing” quotes Jim. He also left us with one final piece of advice that we all need to be better at practicing: getting eight hours of sleep.

Matt Osborn, another executive coach, ended the day with a motivational speech, filled with passion, which left BBS, Inc. hungry for success. He says, quote, “To be an overnight success, you need to keep putting in the good for as long as it takes, but do not forget to take care of you, first. Develop yourself, and give your best you to everyone else. If you don’t get busy now, you won’t have time to soon.” For one final bit of advice, Matt Osborn ends the day with an important Star Wars quote: “Do or do not, there is no try.”
