Fiilex Announces Four New Additions to the Q-Series Accessory Line

SAN FRANCISCO - April 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Fiilex, a leader in LED lighting for the broadcast, film and photo industries, announces the release of four impressive accessories for the Q-Series lights. The new products are the 8-Inch Fresnel, the Para Softbox, the PAR Reflector, and the Q-Series Speed Ring.

The New Products:

8-Inch Fresnel
The 8-Inch Fresnel attaches to any Q-series fixture and its adjustable housing narrows the beam angle to a range of 25º-10º, with a 15x increase in the intensity of the center lux. The housing is crafted from carbon fiber tubes, and the polycarbonate fresnel lens is made from a proprietary design. The lens is lightweight, damage-resistant and transmits 10% more light than a normal glass fresnel lens.

Para Softbox
The 35" Para Softbox utilizes a deep parabolic shape and pairs with any Q-Series fixture to create a soft light and clean shadow. Its shiny silver interior maximizes the internal reflection and pushes out light while the removable front face, grid, and inner baffle diffuse the source for even, wraparound illumination.

PAR Reflector
Designed to produce the feeling of an open face with great intensity, the conical PAR Reflector provides easy control over light spread and adds deeper depth into shots. Its shiny silver interior and distinctive parabolic shape concentrate the light, amplifying the intensity by 6x while the 6” diameter front face narrows the beam angle from 65º down to 16º.

Speed Ring (Q-Series)
With a standard 8-rod-hole configuration, the Speed Ring for the Q-series is designed to accommodate most 8-or 4-pole softboxes/ octaboxes from brands like Chimera, Profoto, and Wescott. Lightweight and durable, the aluminum speed ring slides onto the front of the light and can be rotated a full 360 degrees for better softbox orientation.

The PAR Reflector is available for order and delivery now from dealers throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The U.S. retail price is $149.

The 8-Inch Fresnel, Speed Ring and Para Softbox are available for order now from dealers throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe, with delivery in  May. The U.S. retail price is $645 for the 8-Inch Fresnel and $149 for the Q-Series Speed Ring. The U.S. retail price for the Para Softbox is $399 and it includes a 35” softbox, 16-pole speed ring, inner and outer diffusion layers, and carrying bag.
