Carbo-Load on Marathon Monday Brunch

BOSTON - April 2, 2015 - PRLog -- (Boston, MA) – Boston Marathon athletes and fans will have a high-end choice this year when it comes to their pre-marathon carbo-load meals. From Friday, April 17th, 2015 through Sunday, April 19th, 2015 Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro (BHHB) will be offering runners a relaxing, healthy and gourmet selection of carbo-laden specials from Executive Chef Lucas Sousa. This year the BHHB welcomes both runners and spectators to the Bistro to try one of its pasta specials in either appetizer or entrée portions including:

Tagliatelle-wild mushrooms, charred bread, parsley

Half portion: $14.00, Entrée Portion: $24.00

Black pepper cavatelli-braised chicken, ricotta, hazelnuts, roasted zucchini pesto

Half portion: $14.00, Entrée Portion: $24.00

Canneloni-braised lamb shoulder, peas, goat cheese, mint

Half portion: $14.00, Entrée Portion: $24.00

The above specials will be served in conjunction with the Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro’s regular dinner menu. Weekend hours for dinner service are 5:30PM – 11:00PM (10:00PM on Sunday).

For breakfast or brunch runners can fuel up on Greek Yogurt with Granola and Macerated Blueberries ($8), Rigatoni with Tomato, Broccoli Rabe and Parmesan Cheese ($12), or French Toast with Cider Braised Apples and Spiced Crème Fraîche ($12). Breakfast is served every day from 7:00AM to 10:00AM (7:30AM on weekends), and brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. Reservations are recommended by calling 617-723-7575.
