American Pet Professionals announces new Media Training Seminar & Networking Events!

MELVILLE, N.Y. - April 1, 2015 - PRLog -- American Pet Professionals announces the next in-person networking event for Long Island – Media Training Seminar and Networking event.  Being held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 3pm to 6pm!  This event will feature known Long Island TV producer and Media Expert to teach pet professionals how to: feel more comfortable speaking on camera; how to get their message across in a clear concise way; how to make their YouTube presence more polished and professional; how to speak to the press and additional media training tips.

“Working with pet professionals on a daily basis, I can see how many of them shy away from a camera when a news crew is around or are just not sure how to look and sound more professional while on camera.  I am delighted to have TV Producer Waldo Cabrera of MyLITV as one of our media experts to help our pet professionals get over the fear of the lights and camera and embrace it,” said Nancy Hassel, President of American Pet Professionals.  “I too was a TV producer and production coordinator for over 10 years, and it took me time and practice to feel more comfortable about being on TV.  I want to help our pet professionals be the best they can be and go after their goals of more television exposure for their animal rescue or businesses.”

This event will actually be a series of events in different locations to reach as many pet pros who want and need media training as necessary.  Our next event is Thursday, April 30, 2015 in New York City and more dates in different locations will be announced soon.
