Highland Solutions Successfully Launches CRM Solution for the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance

CHICAGO - April 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Highland Solutions, a technology and business solutions consultant, recently announced the successful launch of a CRM solution for the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance ("MEEA"). MEEA’s members include state and local governments, energy utilities, research institutions, manufacturers, retailers, energy service contractors, and advocacy organizations with a mission to advance energy efficiency in the Midwest.

"We were looking for a CRM that better fit our organization. As we were exploring options, we realized that we needed an organization [Highland] to help ensure we would receive the best return for our CRM investment," said Jen Rhodes, membership manager at MEEA.

Prior to engaging Highland Solutions, the MEEA team used an outdated CRM, various individual databases and spreadsheets to manage contacts and conversations. They were searching for an updated CRM to increase efficiencies and improve data integrity in the areas of contact and policy management, workflow control and event tracking. They concluded SugarCRM’s platform to be the best fit.

"The biggest expectation—and the reason why we chose Sugar and Highland to help us customize it—is to help communication and collaboration across our organization," stated Rhodes.

During the project, MEEA established a small advisory team to work with the Highland team to discuss development and customizations. They were pleased with the time Highland spent learning about their organization.
